The revised edition of the Employment Eligibility Verification Form (I-9) and its instructions are available on SCI’s Web site and Reporting Services. Employers are to begin using the revised Form I-9 immediately. All previous editions of the form are no longer valid.
The revised Spanish version of the Form I-9 can be completed only by employers and employees in Puerto Rico. Although employers and employees in other locations who speak Spanish may use this version as a reference, they must complete the English version of the form. The Spanish version is also available on SCI’s Web site and on Reporting Services.
